This is a site about MMO games. It seems likely you wouldn't be reading this if you weren't interested in some kind of online game, so I will ask the obvious question: What are you playing? If nothing, what are you looking for?
I am currently playing Jade Dynasty as my main game and have recently started playing Battle of the Immortals on the side. I am also in the beta for Iris Online, and I also occasionally drop into Aika and Allods.
I realize that makes it sound like I am a terrible game hopper, and I am not sure I can deny it. I spent the better part of a decade playing EverQuest, with occasional breaks and forays into other subscription games, but I haven't yet settled down to have that sort of relationship with any other game since. I do play more Jade Dynasty than anything else, and I've spend a fair amount of money on it, but I am still waiting for another game to grab me like EverQuest did.
I can't really say it is nostalgia for EQ, either, since I haven't been out of the game all that long and I am dying to get back in, especially with the addition of housing. The system looks amazing, as far as I can tell from what people have posted on different forums. But for the sake of marital harmony, I'm off the EQ.

Hi NightCandy, welcome to GAMES! I appreciate you making your first thread.
At the moment, I am currently playing Fiesta Online by Outspark but it's gotten to a point where I have played it for so long (3 years now) that I want to try out other games and see how they go. I love seeing how games compare with each other.
I used to be annoyed by how people hopped between games but to be honest, from my experience I think it really depends. Some people can commit to a game and play that game only while other people can play games simultaneously and enjoy themselves. Whatever floats your boat I guess. If you enjoy it, then that's all that matters.
I've tried Ether Saga before which is very similar to Jade Dynasty and Perfect World. In my own opinion, I think Ether Saga was so confusing to learn. Overall, the event system is great, pet system is impressive, and it really stood out as any MMO I have ever played but I didn't play it long.
I'm thinking about trying out some Asian-based games like TLBB. I would play Aika but I'm tight on money and so I always stick to f2p. Never played Allods but it seems like a very hyped up MMO.
Hope more people post on the forums. This is a great first thread you made
I played Fiesta when it first came out. It was pretty fun, but it came out around the time we were moving, and I just didn't get back into it after the packing and unpacking.
I've been meaning to try Vindictus, but I just haven't gotten around to it.
It seems like most people I know IRL who play online games are mainly playing League of Legends right now. That's really not my thing, though.
Haha, I would try out some other MMOs but I can only use my netbook. Thinking if I should do an event to compare various MMOs against each other.
I know a few people who play games on their netbooks.
I'd like a good list or an article about what runs well on low-end/old computers. I play games from three different computers (an ancient one, a newer old one, and a new laptop that I share with my husband), and while we are in the process of shopping around for something new, I am still using old machines at the moment, and I am probably not the only one. If you have a high-end machine, you can play anything, but if not, knowing what games play well on the other end of the spectrum would be handy.

Yea, I've been playing Fiesta since it first opened. It's a really popular F2P game, though I'm not as active as I used to be. The game has changed so much and the company has changed that it's not the same as it used to be.

I tried out League of Legends. Really interesting game though I'm not really a fan of MMORTS/Turn-Based Strategy games. But it's a fun game when you're bored

Hmm, I'll make a thread about running MMOs on old/new desktops as well as netbooks and create a discussion on that. Seems like a lot of people ask that question nowadays.
I've been playing Loong for the past couple of days. Same kind of gameplay as Battle of the Immortals and similar games. The graphics are really nice.
I played BotI until about level 62 on a priest character. I stopped mostly because i didnt want to keep having to spam mana potions the entire time i was logged in but its a pretty cool game.
A.V.A. is my favorite FPS at the moment.
Bloodline Champions I'm betting is gonna be the next real big e-sport. You definitely dont wanna pass it up if you love pvp in games. Its very fast paced, rpg gameplay elements with the fast action pace of an fps in my opinion.
Vindictus is very cool if you like hack and slash games.
I played World of Warcraft goin on six years now. Once i found out about free mmo's i havent stopped playing them, its been about three months now. I didnt used to "game hop" but now i am and enjoying the heck out of it.
