Another controversial patch is almost here for RIFT players. Patch 1.2 is adding plenty of content and features to the game, but not everyone is pleased with where RIFT is going with the update.
The most hotly debated topic is the addition of a
Looking For Group system. This system lets players use their interface to find and queue for dungeons, rifts, or group quests with players on his or her server. It seems like for every one person that is happy to see the LFG system implemented there is someone complaining about it. If people use the feature, it should be beneficial for all players considering it is limited to the server the player is on.
Patch 1.2 is more than just a LFG tool, though. Players can train a fifth role now, they can use the
wardrobe function as an appearance tab, they can open crafting rifts that drop crafting materials, they should be thankful
diminishing returns on movement abilities and control abilities, and they should be aware of a number of soul changes.
