Bigpoint reveals Drakensang Online trailer and combat information

Major online games publisher Bigpoint has revealed new information, and an in-game footage trailer, for their upcoming MMO, Drakensang Online.

Drakensang Online will be a fully browser-based action MMORPG, featuring a top-down worldview similar to games like Diablo or MMOs like Battle of the Immortals. The combat system will feature hit and collision detection, "eliminating complicated stat calculations and replacing them with direct combat values" Bigpoint claims.

Characters will be able to use a skill system in which they can modify basic skills through the use of elements, the selection of which will be determined by a character's class. Each character class will also have unique equipment and appearance, encouraging players to team together for maximum benefit.
