Release date announced for World of Tanks

Wargaming.net has announced that its first MMO title, World of Tanks, will officially launch on April 12th in both North America and Europe.

World of Tanks is currently in open beta, and recently opened registration for clans for the upcoming Clan Wars mode. The transition to official service will mark a total of nine months of beta testing with hundreds of thousands of players participating worldwide.

Wargaming.net CEO Victor Kislyi commented, "We are delighted to be finally announcing the release date for this ground-breaking title and invite all veteran players and those new to the game to enjoy tense and uncompromising armored warfare on World of Tanks battlegrounds."
