Co-op versus AI mode arrives in League of Legends

Riot Games has released a new update for its free-to-play MOBA, League of Legends.

The update adds the "Co-op vs. AI" game mode initially revealed in January. The mode lets teams face a team of Champions whose AI has been rebuilt to offer a greater challenge to teams. Champions available to face will include Ashe, Cho'Gath, Miss Fortune, Soraka, and Renekton. The mode will also grant both IP and XP.

Travis George, producer at Riot Games, commented, "The original League of Legends bots provided a basic level of challenge for brand new players who were just learning the ropes - but the newly overhauled AI opponents open up a whole new level of competition for players looking to hone their skills."
