Gravity Released Four Games for Apple¹s App store

Seoul, South Korea January 12, 2011 GRAVITY Co., Ltd. (NasdaqGM: GRVY) (³Gravity² or the ³Company²), an online game developer and publisher based in South Korea, today announced that Jaja : Cheer Dancing!, Graffiti Hero, Piyodamari : Eat Up! and Mashimaro Defence are available in Apple¹s App store for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. The four games are priced at US$ 0.99 each and the Company has also released Graffiti Hero Free, a free version of Graffiti Hero.

Jaja : Cheer Dancing! is a two-dimensional vertical scrolling action arcade game with features of rhythm action games. Players choose three modes - Sky, Disco and Mix and enjoy a jumping game, a rhythm action game or a mixed one, respectively.

Graffiti Hero is a two-dimensional side scrolling action arcade game. Graffiti Hero provides various items and combo systems which enable players to enjoy painting graffiti on various walls in the game. It also allows

high-level players to create graffiti with photos in their iPhone.

Piyodamari : Eat Up!, an arcade game, mainly targets female players from their teens through their twenties with its cheerful and cute characters. Players control Niwa, a rooster, and rescue Piyos, chicks, to clear each

stage.

Mashimaro Defence is an action game easy to play. Players control Mashimaro, a rabbit, to push or smash enemies with a plunger.

As all of the four games support OpenFeint, and Piyodamari : Eat Up! and Mashimaro Defence also support Game Center, players may record their achievements and invite or compete with others.

Company¹s flagship PC MMORPG, in Google Android market in Japan in December 2010. Ragnarok Mobile Story was originally released in the Japanese feature phone market in March 2010 and received positive market acceptance, which led to the launch of Android version of the game. Ragnarok Mobile Story is also embedded in some Android smartphone models released in Japan. Gravity is planning to launch the game in other countries and to release another mobile game based on Ragnarok Online for the App store in the near future.

It's pretty interesting earlier I read that companies like Sega, capcom and a few others are going to slow down the game making process for console and portable systems and put more effort on phone games, and Gravity did that as well so it seems phone games might be a leader in the future (as it isn't now....angry birds anyone?) but hey maybe we might see MMO's on the phone very soon, RO anyone?
