gamigo will present exciting new self-produced games at gamescom 2011
Hamburg, July 11, 2011 - The Hamburg-based publisher gamigo will be presenting a strong line-up to the press at this year's gamescom in Cologne. The focus is on self-produced games based on strong brand names and full of innovative game ideas. All of these games are being developed by European teams primarily based in Germany (Cliffhanger Productions, Funatics).
Make an appointment today for a demonstration of one of the following games. There will also be the opportunity to interview a number of the developers!
Jagged Alliance Online: The turn-based strategy classic returns in all its glory with a number of modern updates! Jagged Alliance Online has more than 60 mercenaries with their own individual strengths and weaknesses, exciting missions across the world, highly-detailed graphics and top-notch, server-based AI. For the first time in the history of the series, the game also has a true multiplayer mode that includes conquerable territories.
Grimlands:This mixture of shooter game and classic MMORPG will be making its debut at this year's gamescom. The game will be demonstrated live to the press for the first time. Grimlands is set in a post-apocalyptic world in which the surface of the Earth has been destroyed by massive earthquakes. The crafting system and expandable cities as well as the "learn by doing" skill system are some of the game's major highlights.
UFO Online:Aliens never come in peace - the same is true in gamigo's smash-hit turn-based strategy game UFO Online. Players train mercenaries from a variety of classes, expand their base and fight to control territories around the world. The focus is not just on beating the aliens but also on proving one's tactical skills against other players in multiplayer PvP mode.
