The Popular MMORPG Gives Players A Preview of Upcoming Patch Content

Seoul, KOREA - June 23, 2011 - Joymax, a developer and publisher of interactive entertainment for the global market, today announced the opening of their Silkroad Online Public Test Servers, which are used to beta test upcoming patches and future content for their widely popular MMORPG. Travelers on the Silk Road have a short window in which to apply for the coveted tester spots before they're all filled.

"Players have repeatedly told us how much they love our public test servers, and they're an invaluable asset to us," said Nam-chul Kim, CEO of Joymax. "The feedback we gain from allowing a sneak peek into the upcoming content patches allows us to tailor our releases to a truly global audience, and we're incredibly proud of that."

Between now and June 28th, Silkroad Standard Time, players at Level 110 or higher can apply to become a tester on the Silkroad main site at http://www.joymax.com/silkroad/. Once the application period has been closed, a lucky 1,000 participants will be randomly selected and those few chosen will be able to log in after July 5th to the exclusive private test server with the upcoming patch already applied, including the Legend 8 content. Users who participate in the beta will receive 10 SP scrolls as a way of thanking them for their contributions. The

list of accepted players will be available June 30th.

The widely popular MMORPG puts players deep into a historical fantasy experience, joining the Chinese and European civilizations along the Silk Road trade route. Traveling across Jangan, from China to Constantinople, players can make their fortunes as merchants, prey on the rich as thieves, or be protection-for-hire as hunters. To celebrate the official launch of Legend VII: Rise of the Thief-Hunter for Silkroad Online, various web events to be announced soon will be prepared for players.
