Wargaming.net has announced that players are now capable of registering their own clans for the upcoming clan wars in World of Tanks.

Like guilds and alliances, clans are groups of players who work together in missions, tournaments, and the Global War Map. This map is used in the Clan Wars gameplay mode, in which clans will struggle for the right to control provinces while fighting a war on diplomatic, economic, and literal battlefields.

Wargaming.net CEO Victor Kislyi described Clan Wars as “a separate gameplay layer or meta-game designed to provide years of fun and action for those fond of strategy thinking, politics, alliances and intrigues.”

The European server is also accepting Clan Wars registration.
