Guild Software has released the Android version of Vendetta Online, their science-fiction MMORPG that has already reached cross-platform to Windows, Mac, and Linux users.

The release makes Vendetta Online available for Tegra-based Android tablets that run Android Honeycomb (3.0), including Motorola Xoom. The game version offers an Android-exclusive offline single-player mode, and will be available through Tegra Zone.

A future release will allow smaller mobile devices to connect to the game, as well as integrate voice chat.

“The portability and power of these new Tegra devices, along with the open development philosophy of the Android platform, have made it possible for us to create a fully-featured port of the PC gaming experience on a lightweight tablet,” commented John Bergman, CEO of Guild Software.
