Review: Innebula
Innebula is a Real-Time Strategy MMO based on space and future setting." As emperor of your space colonization, it is up to you to create, build, and grow your cities in order to battle against other planets in the universe.
This was the first MMORTS I had ever played that was based in a space and futuristic setting." I give a lot of credit to CatchingGames for developing and publishing such a unique and original game setting." This is the kind of game where just like any other average MMORTS, you have to create, upgrade, and battle with other civilizations." However, in Innebula, you are in space fighting other planets." You are using equipment, machinery, and buildings that are found only in space.
The user interface is original and simple to use." However, when you first start to play, it can be confusing but when you start to play around with the different features, you will start to become hooked to it." You have Missions that allow you to gain resources for your space colony." Each mission allows you to create more buildings and upgrade your buildings as well as build and grow your defense and attack troops." The graphics are clean, however it can use some improvement." Note that this game is only in beta so there's lots of room for improvement but overall this game has lots of potential." The chat room for player communication and interaction is non-existant (the main website says there is chatroom but I never saw one in game) and I never found any guides to help me out if I needed assistance." Nevertheless, there were tips and notices within the game's user interface that helped you out as well as the missions themselves that provided you with ways to help grow your colony." Sometimes the missions will tell you to create or upgrade a building or create more troops for attack or defense and it can be confusing to know the exact location you are supposed to click at to accomplish the mission." Innebula has a forum that new players can go to and read here for more information about the game.
This game has plenty of potential as it grows over time and I would definitely recommend it for anyone who is a fan of MMORTS games or space MMOs.
