TROPICAL THUNDER ROARS TODAY!

Dieselpunk online TBS March of War's second themed episode rumbles

From the depths of the South American jungles, after a secret mission, General MacArthur emerges with vital information on the whereabouts of Ché"Guevara. Will the United Republic finally smoke out the revolutionary? Or will the Latin Junta maintain the upper hand, relying on the secrets of the lush jungle to drive out the capitalists?

UTRECHT, THE NETHERLANDS - September 5, 2013 - ISOTX, developer and publisher of the award-winning Iron Grip-series, announces today that the second themed episode, Tropical Thunder, of their free-to-play episodic online multiplayer strategy game, March of War, is now available through Steam Early Access and the official website for PC and Mac.

An all-new trailer has been unveiled and can be watched here.

March of War – Episode II: Tropical Thunder revolves around the capture of Che Guevara, who is a real menace to both Latin Junta and United Republic. The story takes a dramatic turn when General Douglas MacArthur double-crosses the Latin Junta, putting the two factions at each other's throats in a violent battle over Latin American territory.

As with every episode, ISOTX immerses players in this new compelling chapter of the March of War story on multiple levels, ranging from in-game world events including new community-driven (via Vote4War website) themed content, to lore on the March of War blog and newspaper.

Moreover, this month's new episode introduces entirely new threats for any player fighting in the shadows of the South American jungle. Careless players could run into the Gorilla Mole, flesh-eating plants, and more, which will attack any unit who enters their territory. The risk of provoking them makes movement within the dark jungles a dangerous endeavor.

Some of the new units players can look forward to include: Mexican Infantry, Argentinian Trench Mortar, Junta Saw Walker, Junta Missile Roc, Quartermaster, Hover platform and more. To top this off, a variety of community-driven unit skins are introduced, as well as new hazards in the form of critters that will help keep players on their toes.

Next month will see the release of March of War – Episode III: African Sunrise, which will be available on October 3rd, 2013. Future episodes will contain all previously released episodic content, on all expected devices and will always be entirely free-to-play.

The mobile version of March of War for iOS and Android (available soon) will elevate the cross-platform experience to a whole new level.
