| Game Overview: | Age of Empires Online is an upcoming MMORTS game that marks a whole new chapter for the classic AoE series. Developed by Robot Entertainment, Age of Empires Online combines traditional strategy gameplay with a whole new visual style and social features. It sticks the the historic setting found in previous Age of Empires titles, but the cartoony graphics give it a fresh look and feel. Hardcore fans may disprove at first, but the rich gameplay and persistent world elements are sure to win them over. Age of Empires Online is scheduled for release in 2011 but is already accepting closed beta applicants. The game will launch with a single playable civilization, the Greeks, but more will be added soon after. |
