The Rift team has sent over a pair of updates to the official site. The first introduces players to a pumpkin carving contest. The second is a podcast announcement featuring Scott Hartsman that discusses the game’s development to this point.

Halloween Pumpkin Carving Contest

Halloween is coming up in a couple of days and Trion is celebrating with (what else) a pumpkin carving contest! Participants have until 5pm on Oct. 29 to upload a Rift-themed pumpkin picture to the following thread for a chance to win a VIP beta key code, which grants access to all Rift beta events.
