Iron Grip: Marauders adds new Battle Interface

Utrecht, the Netherlands – August 2, 2011 – Game developer ISOTX today"released the latest upgrade for the online strategy game Iron Grip:"Marauders. Besides the expected bug fixes, the upgrade includes several
important new features, such as a new user-interface for tactical battles,"improved tutorial quests, extra units and booster packs.

3D Battle User Interface

An excellent new user interface has been added to the 3D battles in the"game. It is nicer looking, clearer, and allows players to fight in full"screen for the first time.

Tutorials

The tutorial quests have been overhauled in order to make them more"user-friendly. Here too, the user interface has been adjusted to provide"more visual clues during the quests, making it even easier for new players
to get into the game.

New Units

The game’s unit collection has also been expanded with the introduction of"Grenadiers and Mortar Teams. Grenadiers are light-weight scouts packing"fragmentation grenades. The Mortar Team provides close artillery support for"the front-line troops on the battlefield. There are also a number of higher"level versions of older units included in the patch.

Booster Packs

Special units can be earned with the freshly added Booster Pack system. For"every two levels, players receive the option to unlock a mystery pack,"containing two common items, two uncommon items, and one rare licensed unit."The contents of these mystery packs can be unlocked by spending a small"amount of gems.
